As part of its strategic development, FBA is conducting a global recruitment for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management with teaching and research experience in hospitality and tourism operations management, especially in the areas of Revenue Management, Integrated Resort Management, Gaming Management, tourism economics or tourism forecasting. Successful applicants must hold a PhD in relevant fields and demonstrate solid research experience with international achievements. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and research in the identified areas and contribute to university, community and industry service and engagement. Applicants with local industry experience and knowledge will be given preference.

The selected candidate is expected to take office by 2023.


The taxable annual remuneration, starting at MOP 1,019,200 (approx. USD 125,830) for the position of Associate Professor and MOP 828,100 (approx. USD 102,230) for the position of Assistant, will be commensurate with the academic qualification and relevant professional experience of the successful applicants. The current local maximum rate of income tax is 12%, but in practice it is around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
