First look at the new cars and vintage soundtrack of Inertial Drift: Twilight Rivals Edition

The new version of Inertial Drift for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will feature a new soundtrack and four new cars.

POV: you’re going for a night drive in your old beat up Honda, the sun is setting behind the horizon and you’re playing a tape of your favorite 90’s music.

Some vibey Eurobeats to be exact.

Life is good, especially when you hit that corner by the gas station down the street and drift ever so smoothly into retro bliss.

Sounds pretty fun, right? thanks to menertial Drift: The Epic New Soundtrack of Twilight Rivals Edition – Mixed by a Producer Turbothis dream can totally become your everyday reality.

Along with some sublime tunes, the arcade racing game will add four new fictional vehicles when this new version launches for your riding pleasure.

As always, each new whip will feature exclusive features unlike anything you’ve seen in the real world. Of course, the distinctive dual-stick controls will challenge any seasoned vet, but they also allow for intuitive controls that really highlight what makes this game such a unique experience.

  • King Bison – This car looks like an NFL running back: slightly fatter, with a strong hood (almost Camaro-esque), a fancy spoiler and piercing turn signals
  • Terra Rai – Introduce the rear of the Honda S660; that’s exactly what Terra Rai reminds us of with its bubbly exterior and almost futuristic look as we drive away
  • Urus – The Urus exudes an exoskeleton-like aesthetic, with a light surface and darker contours around each distinct body feature
  • XX-82 – Does anyone remember the cartoon Darkwing Duck? This car has that same feel of a masked superhero with a bit of a devious side and an engaging spoiler

The range of cars, updated content and a freshly squeezed soundtrack from Turbo will be available to existing PC users (via Steam or Epic), Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch as new DLC coming later this year.

Intertial Drift: Twilight Rivals Edition will also be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and lets users choose between 4K resolution or 120 FPS frame rate plus new content is included.

There is a bit of a catch though; we are not sure about the release date at this time. However, a quick look at Steam shows the following message:
